History Lesson

(in General on 2005/01/31)

In todays Daily Collegian, there was a response to a previous letter that quoted some rather extreme edicts from the Old Testament in responce to “christian ideals”.

… these laws were not aimed at Christians. These laws were given to the Israelites. Christianity didn’t come around until hundreds of years later.

Thanks for the history lesson, Sarah Sander, class of 2004!

Now playing on HBO On Demand is The Wraith

A great movie from 1986 starring charlie sheen as a ghost/demon in a badass supernatural car (I bet the sequel will have a Space Lambourghini) that puts the everlasting beating on some Fast & Furious types.

Simple Life: Interns

(in General on 2005/01/26)

I would not be surprised if future generations built their entire society around Simple Life: Interns, not much unlike the world of Bill & Ted.

My DVR is humming with anticipation.
